The High Tech Avenida is a modern, design-conscious hotel housed in an original 1930s building, located next to the Gran Via and 200 metres from Puerta del Sol. DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Taxis are readily available from the Airport Arrivals terminal and cost approximately 25 EUR to the hotel. Alternatively, there is a Metro station from Terminal 2 that takes guests quickly into town with the nearest stop being Gran Via/Callao. An airport shuttle service is also available at a surcharge. Madrid is well served by an extensive and efficient underground rail system (Metro) and bus network. Much of the centre is easily explored on foot and taxis are a viable option.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the M-30 in the South direction until you get to the Plaza de Espana (square). From there, go up Gran Via (street) and the hotel is in Mesonero Romanos no.14.
