A 1970s-style tower designed by the Otamendi brothers, the Husa Princesa is located in a Madrid business district next to El Corte Ingles department store, and 300 metres from the Cerralbo Museum. The 14-floor has 275 air-conditioned guestrooms featuring mustard and beige decor with prints from the Prado Museum and light cherry wood furnishings. All rooms overlook either the street or the inner courtyard and offer pay movies, voicemail and work desks with wireless Internet.
The restaurant serves Spanish and Mediterranean dishes such as Catalonian Stew and Iberian Ham in a tranquil setting with warm earth colours. The Global Café is situated beside the restaurant and serves Spanish tapas in a relaxed ambience and opens out to an attractive terrace. The Bar Royal features live piano music and serves a selection of wines, beers and liquors. The lobby is decorated in a 1970s style with geometric patterns, designer sofas; it houses jewellery, souvenir and clothes shops. Classes in Tai Chi, aerobics, spinning, aquagym and flamenco are offered and there is also a juice bar. Twelve meeting rooms form the conference centre, which has a total capacity of 1800 people, including a ballroom with capacity for up to 900 people. Entry to the Gran Madrid Casino is complimentary. For shopping, El Corte Ingles is next to the hotel and the city's Big Three art museums can be found within 3.5 kilometres. Madrid Barajas Airport is 30 minutes by car, 14 kilometres (9 miles) from the hotel.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Minibuses and taxi cabs are available for transfer from the airport to the centre of Madrid. Metro line 8 also serves the airport and takes passengers into central Madrid. The Metro station closest to the hotel is Arguelles. The hotel also organises a shuttle bus (surcharge).
Driving directions: From the airport take the A-10 to the M-40, then take exit 51 (Madrid-Centro) to the M-30 and take exit 23-a (Madrid-Moncla) onto Princesa where the hotel is located.
